5. Craven Dunnill Powers Ahead with Major Solar Investment

Craven Dunnill reports it is set to reduce its electricity bill to zero during 2014, following a major investment into solar technology at its Bridgnorth headquarters. 6. Craven Dunnill Cracks Tile Challenge of Kings Cross Curved Tunnel

The newly opened King’s Cross pedestrian tunnel in London features a tiled floor of interlocking triangles, set along a sloping curve. The conceptual design of the floor complements the other key elements: the canopy, the fin section and the integrated art-wall of LED lights. Craven Dunnill successfully solved the geometric and mathematical challenges created by the irregular floor, providing the required technical CAD expertise and supplying the water-jet cut tiles to an accuracy of 0.1mm. 9. Shropshire Tile Company Wins Award Following Olympic Mural Success

The Shropshire based, specialist tile manufacture, Craven Dunnill Jackfield, which created two vast art installations for the Olympic Park, has won a national award for its Olympic inspired tile mural at Much Wenlock Public Art Trail. The company picked up a much-coveted award on Saturday 20 April, at the TTA’s (The Tile Association) annual event, at the Birmingham Hilton Hotel and stated that the Olympic projects have prompted it to set up a dedicated mural service.
